REGISTER YOUR TEAM
It’s that exciting time of year again when we come together for the annual North Hills First Responder Softball Tournament! We are thrilled to open registrations for the 2026 tournament and look forward to building upon the successes of previous years to make this event even more impactful.
Last year, with your passion and dedication, we raised over $12,000 to support our fellow heroes and their families. We are continuously inspired by the unity and spirit shown by all participating teams. A hearty congratulations to the Westview Fire Department for claiming the trophy last year!
For 2026, we invite you to join us once again at Pine Community Park, located at 100 Pine Park Drive, Wexford, PA—just a stone's throw from the Northern Regional Police Department. While the specific dates are yet to be announced, rest assured that we will keep you updated as soon as they are confirmed.
Details for this year's tournament are as follows:
Entry Fees: $600 per team for a minimum of 12 players, with an additional $25 fee for each extra player. Payments can be made by CC, cash or check, payable to the “North Hills First Responder Corporation.” Please submit your registration form along with the payment to the Northern Regional Police Department, 230 Pearce Mill Rd, Wexford, PA 15090, attention Ish Lopez. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to returning teams.
Team Composition: We are seeking 16 teams, each consisting of 12-15 players from law enforcement, fire, and EMS agencies in the greater Pittsburgh area. While the majority of team members should be from your organization, we understand the need to include additional members to complete a team.
Tournament Rules: Expect double elimination rounds until the championship game, with each game running for 1 hour or 6 innings, whichever comes first. Every participant will receive a tournament t-shirt, and the winning team will take home the trophy, to be returned the following year.
This tournament is more than just a game; it’s a chance to rally together in support of our brothers and sisters in need. Your participation not only provides crucial support to our beneficiaries but also strengthens the bonds within our first responder community.
We invite everyone to come out and enjoy the event, with food and beverages available for purchase, along with basket and 50/50 raffles. The funds raised will be divided among the chosen beneficiaries for 2026, with a portion allocated to future event planning.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication. We look forward to another successful tournament and hope to see you on the field, where camaraderie and community shine bright.
Sincerely,
The North Hills First Responders Corporation, a registered 501(c)(3).
